How Studio Time Works
How is this different from credit-based platforms?
You rent studio hours, not individual credits. During your time, generate unlimited tracks without counting or worrying.
It's like booking time in a real recording studio—pay for access, create freely.
Does my timer count while I'm waiting in queue?
No! Queue time doesn't count against your hours. Your timer only counts during active generation time when Don is working on YOUR track.
If you're waiting in queue, your timer is paused. You only "spend" studio time when Don is actually recording your song. This means waiting is just inconvenience, not wasted money.
What happens if there's a queue?
Each track takes 2-5 minutes to generate. If multiple artists are creating simultaneously, you'll see your queue position and estimated wait time.
Higher tiers get priority placement in the queue (less waiting). Most of the time, the studio is free or has minimal wait. Producer Pro members jump to the front instantly.
Do my hours expire?
Your monthly hours refresh on your billing date. Unused hours don't roll over, but with unlimited generations during your time,
you'll rarely use all your hours unless you're running a full production house!
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Absolutely! Upgrade anytime and get immediate access to your new tier benefits. Downgrade at the end of your current billing cycle.
Your tracks and hours are always safe.
Where does my money go?
100% goes to buying GPUs for training better AI models. Not profit. Not salaries. Just hardware.
Better GPUs = better AI training = better sound quality, more realistic voices, tighter production.
The studio literally improves over time. This is pure reinvestment.
What's the goal with The Spark?
We're saving to buy The Spark - a desktop AI supercomputer. Once we own it: no cloud costs, faster queues, total independence.
Every membership gets us closer. Your support helps us buy the hardware that makes the studio better for everyone.
Can I use my tracks commercially?
All tracks you create in the studio belong to you. Session Player tier is for personal use only. House Band and Studio Patron tiers include full commercial licenses—use in client work, monetize on streaming platforms. We don't claim any rights to your creations. (Jam Session trial tracks are for personal use.)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Your payment will appear on your bank statement as "DON MARTON STUDIO".
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your
Profile page via the Billing Portal. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months, but you keep everything you've created.
What file formats can I download?
All tiers can download in WAV (high quality) and MP3 formats. House Band and Studio Patron tiers also get access to the Mixer for multi-track stem exports (drums, bass, vocals, other).
Is my music private?
Yes, by default all your songs are private. You choose what to share—make individual tracks or albums public, or keep everything to yourself. Your creative process stays yours.
